Thanks to our Board President J Hooper for getting some volunteers to help with the front entrance Christmas decorations. Watch for more to come soon ....
Door Bell 2 extra:
Nov 4, 2018:
After buying the Doorbell 2 video, talk, and motion doorbell, the angle faces the wall (instead of out towards the street) because that is the way Beazer Homes built the house in 2001. We bought the 45 degree angle bracket, but the holes for the screws do not line up and its very cheap plastic. We designed and built his own angle support for the Doorbell 2 out of wood, and it worked so well, we built two.
And, we have a spare. If you are interested in the spare, please email Marie, your board member. Email is on the Board Member's tab.
Below are some pictures so show what was built ,,, paint is still drying as we painted the wood too.

Message: Good Morning; I am with FEMA and am working in association with the National Flood Insurance Program education and outreach group at the Harvey Texas Recovery Office in Houston. I noticed on your website that you have several emergency contact numbers. I would like to ask if you would consider placing the
FEMA NFIP -National Flood Insurance weblink on your site for community access: https://www.fema.gov/national-flood-insurance-program
Hurricane season is just around the corner and we would like to encourage all homeowners and renters to purchase flood insurance. After the devastation of Harvey it was discovered that 80% of the damaged properties did not have flood insurance.

Many thanks Wanda & Rick Scanlin for donating the largest portion of the flower bushes and red mulch for the front entrance Marquee, and many thanks to Jay Hooper, Marie Godard, Alice & Mike Cordova, and Theiry, for all other donations and help putting in the flower bushes and mulch this afternoon. The entrance looks much better as a start. Perhaps we can do the same another weekend for the Marquee next to the flag.

The REDUCED Speed limit signs are installed at both entrances.
Click on pictures below to see note from Commissioner Pct 3. office and pictures of both entrance signs. If you see speeders, call the police to enforce the new reduce speeds. This month, one community member stopped a young male driver going 50 mph on White Oak Gardens Dr, which is a very narrow road filled with vehicles and curves ... very dangerous at 50 mph and there are children, pets and elderly walking on our streets.
